Phlebotomist (temporary/hourly)

Phlebotomist - Aurora, CO 80014

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, additional hours/days may be requested.

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely

Process billing information and collect payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Maintain patient and specimen information logs

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Flexibility to work overtime as neededProven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Pay Range
$21.73 to $28.49 per hour

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

Employees scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
