REGISTERED NURSE - UROLOGY/GYN SURGERY

RN - PACU

Urgent backfill required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH are required. Monday to Friday call required. Two years of experience preferred, all surgeries except hearts. Experience with pediatrics required and critical care strongly preferred. Must help with coverage in Pre-Op. Level II trauma experience preferred. Candidate must have experience recovering ortho, neuro, general, urology, dental (adults and pediatrics), GYN, and pediatric ENT (T & A, BMT, etc). Traveler should have experience with monitoring patients with nerve blocks, chest tube insertions, central lines, intubation, and A-lines.

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (12:00 - 20:30)

Patient Diagnoses: We do all surgeries except hearts. All ages from 8 months old to 100+ years old. Must have strong experience with Peds patients (ENT, dental, ortho etc). Heavy volume of ortho, general, GYN, neuro, urology.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Nurse will have to orient to Preop Holding. Our Preop Holding and PACU are connected, so the nurses float if needed. We do not float to other departments.
