Job Responsibilities

Conduct patient evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings to develop tailored treatment plans
Implement physical therapy interventions focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and necessary home exercises
Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility protocols and regulations
Engage in team meetings and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure cohesive patient care
Required Qualifications
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Necessary Certifications
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification is preferred
Additional certifications in specialties such as geriatrics or neurology are advantageous but not mandatory
