If so, we are searching for someone like you to join our team of experts in supporting military and DoD operations.As a Program Manager III, you shall join the Survivable Air Operations Center (SAOC) Team (AFLCMC/WVS) as a Senior Program Manager (PM) for the SAOC program at Hanscom AFB, MA. In this role, you shall assist the WVS (previously HBJ) government program office team working in conjunction with program senior leaders, engineers, and program managers, as well as other support contractor engineers and program managers. Your duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior managementDraft and gain concurrence of senior program leadership of acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.), and support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports for SAOC and senior USAF leadership.Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews; support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior leadership.Provide Branch and Division level records and SharePoint site management supportWeekly compilation and tech editing of the WVSA Branch Staff Briefing slidesAssist the Government Lead with preparation, review, technical editing, and staffing of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) - Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S) Milestone Document requirements as defined on the Milestone Document Identification Tool websiteActively participate in team meetings to develop plans and contingencies for system acquisition and implementation. The ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms on highly technical topics is critical.Support the Government Lead with development, review and staffing of SAOC Acquisition Documentation, specifically OUSD(A&S) MDID website mandated Information Requirements and Milestone DocumentsDevelop and manage/maintain the SAOC SharePoint sites for the Planning and Business Operations Branch (WVSA), to include the Branch Calendar, the Milestone Document folders, the WVSA Staff Meeting slides, and the Staff Suspense Tracker data.Participate in, and support, as required, SAOC meetings and conferencesSupport SAOC Data and Record Management, especially at the Branch levelPrepare and maintain minutes for technical meetings and conferences, as requiredProvide Program Management support to the SAOC PM and staff at major program reviews, inspections, conferences, program evaluations and major milestone eventsServe, as required, as a member of various technical teams, e.g., Human Systems Integration (HSI) team and Acquisition Strategy teamREQUIREMENTSBA/BS degree and 15 years of experience across domain, 10 years of DoD support preferred; years of experience may compensate for lack of degreeExperience supporting a range of DoD acquisition activities through various stages of the Defense Acquisition cyclePossess the knowledge and mindset to play a key “forward leaning” support role as a senior contractor to deliver on a program of national-level interest and scrutinyPossess the detailed knowledge of systems acquisition and program management to support the program office to manage and report on a program or portfolio of programs/projects.Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Must act independently with minimal guidance or direction, and effectively communicate orally and in writingMust be able to quickly gain proficiency in standard (Government specified) software applicationsMust have experience in reviewing and writing technical documentation and reportsPrefer experience with Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAP) ACAT ID and/or aircraft program acquisitionActive Top Secret clearance is requiredEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERMCR, LLC is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
