Janitorial & Cleaning - shift work

Title Custodian

Job Overview The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities Perform janitorial duties

Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping, receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, and packaging of special and hazardous waste

Operate motorized cleaning equipment

Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures

Stop at risk behavior of others and self

Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules

Take direction and respond to supervision

Talk with lead, supervisor, co‑workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner

Support shift lead in completing punch‑list items

Use proper personal protective equipment

Understand customer service and satisfaction

3‑6 months training or experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Must have completed all safety and task training certifications

May be required to be forklift certified

Bilingual a plus

Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents

Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with team

Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment

Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe, efficient use

Compensation and Shift Monday‑Friday: 8am – 4:30pm, $17–$18 per hour.
