System Administrator
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented System Administrator to join our team and help maintain the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for managing servers, networks, and other critical systems, ensuring that they run efficiently and securely. You will also handle system updates, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with the implementation of new technologies. Network Administrator, IT Administrator, Systems Engineer, Cloud Administrator, Infrastructure Administrator, Server Administrator, Database Administrator, Technical Support Specialist, IT Specialist, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Systems Analyst, Operations Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, Network Engineer, Security Administrator, etc.

Bachelor's Degree

Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Data Science, Information Systems, Cloud Computing, Electrical Engineering, IT Management, Systems Analysis, Business Technology, etc.

Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Strong understanding of networking concepts

Ability to ensure system security and data protection

Proficiency with Windows and Linux systems

Experience with cloud-based systems management

Familiarity with virtualization platforms

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Experience with network configurations and monitoring

Familiarity with system performance tuning

Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks

Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Familiarity with database administration

Understanding of disaster recovery planning
