Description:
Travel RN position in Orthopedic Surgery.
Unit specializes in orthopedic and spine care.
The unit has a total of 345 beds.
The facility has achieved a three-time Magnet designation.
There is a float pool staff of approximately 80.
Staff includes Day Shift RNs and CNAs on most units.
Night Shift RNs and CNAs are also present on most units.
Patient ratios are typically 1:5 for both day and night shifts.
Ratios may vary between units and are estimated, not guaranteed.
The facility utilizes various types of equipment and EMR system.
Candidates with a minimum of one year of recent acute care experience will be considered first.
Key responsibilities include performing joint replacements and fracture repairs.
Care for patients with spinal injuries is also needed.
The ideal candidate will exhibit flexibility and a willingness to float between units.
