Psychotherapist- Full-time or Part-time

Overview The Center for Intimacy Recovery is seeking a Master’s-level psychotherapist who is licensed to practice therapy in the state of New Jersey. This is a part-time or full-time virtual position, and the therapist does not need to reside in New Jersey.

This is a great opportunity for the right people interested in working in a private practice setting where we provide opportunities to have quality clinical experiences, run groups, and continue learning through training and supervision. We are looking for therapists licensed in New York and/or New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, California and Texas who are willing to work virtually.

The Center for Intimacy is a private practice founded by Gary Katz, LCSW, with the mission to help people become more intimate with themselves and others and to address the strategies they have developed to protect themselves as a result of relational trauma. We also have an increased focus on sex therapy including helping couples to connect more sexually and addressing obstacles to that.

The practice is a multidisciplinary team of therapists and interns who all bring their own diverse backgrounds and training to their work with our clients. One of the ways we support our staff is through weekly 1 on 1 individual supervision as well weekly 2 hour group supervision meetings, where we create a safe environment for therapists to bring clinical questions and to learn.

The position is responsible for a minimum of 15 clients per week plus 2 hours of group supervision and one hour of individual supervision weekly.
Each therapist makes their own schedule based on their own needs.
You will be offered weekly individual supervision and weekly 2 hour group supervision as well as office space (where we are not virtual).

A Master's level degree as a social worker, marriage and family therapist, or mental health counselor and licensing is required.
