Host or Hostess - Restaurant

Host Position
The role of a Host is to delight our guests, be the face of the company, and ensure a smooth dining experience from the time someone walks into the restaurant to the time they leave. A typical shift includes greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, managing wait-time, answering phones, and taking reservations. Operate and troubleshoot reservation software. Stay current on menu options, specialties, and menu deviation.
We are looking for individuals with the following qualities:
Welcome, all guests with a genuine and delightful smile. Interact with guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience
Use the guest name whenever possible
Identify special occasions and extend wishes
Be a team player. Support and be supported by your co-workers
Work well with employees & managers
Excellent communication, multi-tasking and organization skills in fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and professional maturity
Experience:
Host experience in fine dining preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Requirements:
~ Must be 18 years or older
