RN - MedSurg/Telemetry - Nights

Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered NurseThis is a 13-week contract position.Night Shift (3x12-Hour: 19:00 - 07:30)The Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in a telemetry unit. This role involves monitoring patient vitals, interpreting dysrhythmias, and managing any potential complications. Nurses will work collaboratively within a co-care/virtual nursing model, where bedside RNs are supported by virtual nurses for enhanced patient care.Monitor and assess patients in a telemetry setting.Administer medications and perform necessary nursing interventions.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record system (Epic).Educate patients and their families about care plans and health management.Float to similar units as required to meet staffing needs.Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a medical/surgical or telemetry setting.Active RN license in Alaska is required (or a pending application submitted within 48 hours).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Experience with remote monitoring systems is a plus.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
