Mental Health Care Counselor

Provident Behavioral Health

This role provides therapeutic counseling and psycho-education to patients and their families on an outpatient basis.

It involves delivering mental health interventions , supporting whole-person care , and collaborating with patients to improve their well-being.

Qualifications Include

Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related health field

Family counseling or therapy experience

Basic Life Support certification

Key Responsibilities

Conduct counseling sessions tailored to patient needs

Provide psycho-education to patients and families

Support patient-centered care and health improvement

Skills Required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Empathy and cultural competence

Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
