Head of Inventory Planning

Planning Manager
The Planning Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the flow of production parts to support scheduling of orders and services in support of established and scheduled customer commitments. Individual will manage the Planning Team and work closely with purchasing, engineering, quality and inventory control staff. Generate and respond to the various ERP/MRP reporting systems in a timely manner to insure due dates and priorities are properly defined for the shop floor or procurement staff
Maintain weekly/monthly production schedule for manufacturing facility and execute the subsequent MRP cycles where applicable to support the schedules
Assist program management with purchase requisitions for materials/services as needed.
Define, monitor and adjust planning as conditions in the manufacturing process or demand stream changes
Undergraduate degree and/or technical associate degree with Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations and Planning courses a plus
~5 years' experience with a computerized ERP/MRP or equivalent scheduling system, experience with Epicor Vantage or SAP a plus

Understand that driving to customer commits is paramount to success.
Solid experience with computerized systems MRP software, and Microsoft Applications with Excel skills.
Able to read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints and Bill of Materials
Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations.
