Buyer - Purchasing Engineering
Foster Harness and Electrical Assembly
Working with vendors and evaluating them based on reputation, price, speed, selection and quality
Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders and compiling regular reports on current purchase order statuses
Working with and setting up items in an ERP software system
BOM Breakdown & Auditing: Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) alongside customer-provided engineering specifications to match supplier part numbers accurately
Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of tactical procurement experience specifically inside a manufacturing or industrial environment.
