Emergency Medical Tech - Basic

In this position you will work 2 on/2 off with every other weekend a 3-day weekend.

• The Emergency Medical Tech - Basic provides quick, quality care and transport to critically ill or injured patients in a fast-paced environment.

Provides critical care interventions and patient transport independently. Delivers quality care to a varied patient population. Operates ambulance safely and appropriately at all times.

Responds quickly to patients' request for assistance with personal hygiene needs.

Documents and organizes patient care information accurately and thoroughly, with no more than 5% of service reports returned for completion.

Complete the daily checklist for assigned ambulances. Ensure the ambulance is always ready to respond quickly to emergencies.

Notify the appropriate personnel immediately when supplies and equipment are unavailable for stocking the unit.

Maintains cleanliness and functionality of cleaning, sleeping, and crew quarter areas regularly. Performs daily tasks to keep the ambulance bay clean and safe.
