Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking an Estimator to join our office in San Antonio, TX.About Fisk ElectricIf it’s electric, Fisk Electric Company has it covered.Since 1913, Fisk has been one of the nation’s leading providers for the design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems, structured cabling applications, integrated electronic security systems, and building technology solutions.During our storied history, we have gained experience on virtually every building type or unusual site condition in every region of the United States as well as the Middle East, Spain, the Virgin Islands, and the Caribbean.Notable projects include Formula 1 and City Center projects in Las Vegas for MGM, data center projects, T-Mobile Arena, UNLV, DAS Projects for 5G services as well as high end retail stores such as Gucci, Fendi, Neiman Marcus and Tapestry.Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional TalentDESCRIPTION:As an Estimator at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will have the opportunity to:Responsible for multiple systems on Technical, Health Care or Industrial projectsLead fully engineered estimates up to $5MUnderstand the concepts and process of conceptual estimates and budgets up to $1MReview the scope specified within the proposal and ensure estimates include appropriate scopeDevelop detailed cost estimates and proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions; actively assist the project team toward the answersReview contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changesProficient with estimating softwareWorking knowledge of McCormick and BluebeamProven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishmentEffective oral and written communication skillsReview Estimate take-offsUnderstanding and familiarity with NECMentoring Estimator Trainees & Estimator 1 staffREQUIREMENTS:Four year Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related career experience2 or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractorOne plus years recent Electrical Estimating experience with on-screen take-off experience preferredComputer literate and able to quickly master and apply department’s computer systems and softwareFisk Electric builds extraordinary projects and we need exceptional talent.
