Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Full-time Registered Dietitian for Queen's Medical Center West Oahu , located in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. This 104-bed community hospital is part of Queens Health System and ~ is 25 miles west of Honolulu.

What You'll Do

Deliver nutrition care to inpatients with a range of medical conditions

Participate in daily ICU rounds as part of the interdisciplinary team

Lead quality initiatives (patient satisfaction rounds, test trays)

Educate and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams

What You Bring

A Registered Dietitian credential

A Hawaii license and are a Registered Dietitian and client insurance credentialing is required

Servesafe certification is required within 90 days

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player; and

The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
