NICU/PICU Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:30 - 07:00)
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced NICU/PICU Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care to neonates, infants, and children in a dynamic pediatric environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory therapy services as per physician orders.
Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status.
Administer medications and treatments via inhalation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and treatments.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in NICU/PICU.
Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is preferred.
