Manufacturing Engineer | Lockheed Martin
Reliance on any single capability — electronic attack, stealth, etc. — Missions traditionally performed by specialized aircraft — air-to-air combat, air-to, ground strikes, electronic attack, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance — can now be executed by a squadron of F-35s. F35 Aircraft Mate/ Forward Fuselage Manufacturing Engineering Sr will directly support primarily the production team. THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT POSITION. Perform floor support to solve immediate production constraints.
Develop corrective actions to improve the production system, reducing Scrap Rework and Repair (SRR) cost and hours per unit (HPU).
Update the manufacturing plan
Perform manufacturing evaluations of engineering changes
Other Manufacturing Engineering standard work (Tool Trial Runs, Work Around Plans, etc.).

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
BS/MS in Manufacturing Engineering or related field with 5+ plus years of experience (or 3+ w/MS)
Experience working in a union environment.
Knowledge of F-35 production line practices and requirements.
Knowledge of aircraft structures and/or systems installation (hydraulics / harness) procedures and requirements.
Ability to work remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
