The Phlebotomist I plays a vital role in our patient care ecosystem by executing safe, accurate, and efficient specimen collections in a high-volume clinical environment. Operating under the supervision of the Laboratory Leadership team, this position ensures seamless laboratory specimen processing while delivering an extraordinary patient experience.
Perform high-volume blood draws, blood specimen collections via venipuncture or capillary (finger stick) collection across adult and pediatric populations using standard aseptic protocols.
Demonstrate clear phlebotomy techniques to gain patient cooperation and alleviate anxiety during collection.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Certifications: National Phlebotomy Certification (ASCP, AMT, NHA, NPA) preferred or required within 90 days of hire. Prior experience handling high-volume phlebotomy environments strongly preferred. Experience in outpatient lab settings or Point-of-Care (CLIA Waived) testing is a plus.
