SHIFT: 1ST SHIFT

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to help keep production running safely and efficiently.
Perform preventive and routine maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machine repairs as needed.
Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance issues before breakdowns occur.
Assist with installation, setup, and adjustment of new or existing equipment.
Maintain and repair facility systems, including lighting, doors, plumbing, and other general building equipment.
Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment safely.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance requests.
Keep the maintenance area, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
Work with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred.
Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read basic schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals.
Basic welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
Willingness to learn new equipment and maintenance procedures.
Ability to lift and move maintenance parts and equipment as required.
Ability to work around manufacturing machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
