TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Los Angeles, California, 90017!

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Los Angeles, CA | Acute Care
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Provide direct nursing care to a patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults in a Low and High Risk Labor and Delivery setting
Utilize external fetal monitoring and demonstrate recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
Circulate for C-section procedures within a unit that includes Triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum areas
Float to Perinatal unit as needed
Participate in mandatory on-call shifts, expected approximately 2 times per month in addition to scheduled shifts
Work 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights) and be available for most holidays
Active California RN license required at time of submission
Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the travel rate
Experience working in a high-acuity OB environment with OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia support
Familiarity with unit systems including SBAR, Omnicell, and eMD Allscripts
Experience with both low and high risk Labor and Delivery patient populations
Opportunity to work in a comprehensive OB unit with a robust support team including 24-hour OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia coverage
