Histotechnician - Histology - Full Time

The Histology Technician will perform the various tasks required for receiving, processing, and preparing patient tissue specimens for microscopic examination and analysis by the Pathologist. Perform Histological technical procedures using manual and automated techniques to achieve quality pathology slides for review by pathologist
Providing skilled surgical and medical support to MOHS surgeon with patients’ care and safety.
Prepare patients’ charts, forms and instruments and equipment needed for surgery
Perform routine housekeeping duties, keep room and lab stocked with supplies
Participate in external and internal proficiency testing

Prior experience in medical office
Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians
