As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Auburndale FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location you will conduct routine vehicle patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and respond professionally to evolving situations. Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to government facility personnel and visitors by carrying out armed security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds access points parking areas roadways and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas verify credentials as required and report suspicious activity hazards or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols incidents visitor activity and other security-related observations.
A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
