We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join us Full-Time in our Hotel Front Desk team!

As a Front Desk Agent, you are responsible for greeting and registering guests in a warm and welcoming manner, delivering excellent guest service to elevate every aspect of their stay, and anticipating guest needs to create a personized and memorable experience.

While checking in, registering guests, the Front Desk Agent is a source of knowledge for the guest for everything about the hotel, its amenities, and the local Downtown Austin and surrounding area.

Help guests discover their "Wanderlust" experience

Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest

Help to resolve problems and "WOW" guests through recovery when things aren't quite right

Promote and sell special hotel programs.

Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.

Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.

Maintain house bank.

Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.

Previous experience in a hotel front desk, guest services or similar service role, is required, preferably with a full-service hotel.

Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

Must have open availability to work various shifts, AM or PM, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational needs.

Outgoing and engaging personality with thorough understanding of customer service behaviors and strong interpersonal skills.

Strong computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office Suite Products; Capable of remaining in a standing position, either stationary or walking, for duration of shift.

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
