Registered Nurses deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process. Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses effectively interact with patients and visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Registered Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered, nurses must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions. The facility conducts a mandatory drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana, which may affect clearance. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The daily census on the unit is approximately 30 patients. The unit consists of 33 beds. Registered Nurses will work with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
