Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting within an acute care hospital environment
Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Potential to float to additional units to care for the same patient population as needed to meet operational needs
May be required to care for patients on ventilators
Rotate between day and night shifts as required by facility operational needs, including working at least every other holiday
Complete facility orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations with a passing score
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
Active ACLS certification required
Active NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent specialty experience obtained within a single facility location
• Experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients
• Supervisory or charge nurse reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
