Overview Host - Cashier

A Host - Cashier is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for presenting exceptional customer service to ensure the guests' first impression of the restaurant is a positive one.

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a genuine smile and positive attitude

Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests

Handle guest complaints or issues professionally or bring them to the manager when necessary

Take to-go orders over the phone and in person

Responsibilities include complying with all federal and state laws, including the FLSA tip regulations regarding tip reporting, sharing, and minimum wage requirements

Responsible for point of sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or other proper forms of payment for food and beverage orders

1 year of restaurant experience preferred

Availability on weekdays, weekends, nights, mornings, and holidays
Must be able to read and write in English and handle math calculations
