Hourly Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Probate Attorney licensed in Oregon or Washington to join their team in Vancouver, WA. The attorney will advise clients, guide a support team, and represent clients in county courts across Oregon and Washington, managing client relationships from consultation through case closure.

Duties Lead client consultations and assess goals.

Provide legal advice for estate settlement matters.

Present services and fees to clients.

Explain estate settlement processes clearly.

Direct support team on document drafting.

Review and revise estate settlement documents.

Represent clients at court hearings.

Communicate with co-counsel and court staff.

Track time on hourly matters accurately.

Conduct legal research as needed.

Requirements Active member of the Washington or Oregon State Bar.

Minimum 2 years of legal experience; probate experience preferred.

Knowledge of Washington or Oregon probate procedures.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable with case management software and Microsoft Office.

Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications Bar admission in Oregon or Washington.

Skills Strong client relations and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
