FACILITY INFORMATION

~ Trauma Level: Level III

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

CT and ultrasound guided biopsies (excluding mammo) Drain placement; renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder and abscess (in Cath lab and CT). Biliary stents. Thoracentesis and paracentesis Dialysis procedures in Cath lab. Occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases. Rare embolization procedures; GI and other bleeding.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

~ Other Qualifications: Fellowship trained in IR preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide diagnostic radiology interpretations for inpatient and outpatient cases. Perform interventional radiology procedures including CT/US guided biopsies, drain placements, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and dialysis procedures. Cover weekdays on-site from 7am to 3pm, with no call or weekend duties. Manage occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases. Handle rare embolization procedures such as GI and other bleeding cases.
