Head of Operations Management (m/w/d)

We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our residential HVAC operation in Tallahassee.
This position is responsible for the overall performance of the HVAC service and installation departments through leadership, coaching, sales development, operational excellence, and KPI management.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential HVAC, understands duct systems, has experience leading high-performing teams, and has worked within the Nexstar Network or similar performance-driven environment.
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop service, installation & sales teams
Conduct ride-alongs, one-on-one coaching, and performance reviews
Sales Performance
Coach technicians on presenting solutions and building customer trust
Reinforce ethical, customer-focused sales processes
Develop a high-performing sales culture without sacrificing customer experience
Partner with dispatch to maximize technician efficiency and customer satisfaction
Ensure operational consistency across all field activities
Drive continuous process improvement
Training & Development
Develop technical training plans
Improve HVAC diagnostics, ductwork knowledge, installation quality, and customer communication
Customer Satisfaction
Technicians understand their goals and performance expectations
Sales performance increases through coaching-not pressure
Training produces measurable improvement
High customer satisfaction scores
A culture built on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Previous Operations Manager, Service Manager, or General Manager experience
Experience managing KPIs and departmental financial performance
Strong coaching and leadership skills
Nexstar Network experience
Experience leading both service and installation departments
