Must-Have:

• Experience in recovering conscious sedation
• Competence in performing bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and EGD
• Ability to administer conscious sedation and monitor patients
• Skills in obtaining 12-lead ECGs and managing dysrhythmias

Description:
Endoscopy Registered Nurse position available requiring a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
The unit is very busy, providing care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
The nurse will be involved in various procedures including ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound.
The nurse will handle specimen labeling and management as well as IV starts and airway management.
Conscious sedation recovery and monitoring are essential skills for this role.
The nurse will work closely with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams and respiratory services.
Daily patient census is approximately 15, with an expected patient ratio of 3:1.
Candidates should be comfortable floating to other units as needed.
Experience with the Epic charting system is required.
The role involves weekend coverage as needed.
