Manufacturing Engineering Senior (Level 3)

Overview You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr for the team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products and supporting hardware development and program initiatives.
Partnering with Production Operations leads to support hardware development and producibility initiatives
Ensuring new designs are producible and cost-competitive in a full-rate manufacturing environment
Evaluating designs and providing manufacturing feedback to lead to affordable and manufacturable designs
Developing manufacturing readiness assessments and creating manufacturing plans

CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an Interim Top Secret clearance to start.
Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline
A broad base of professional knowledge regarding electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical manufacturing
Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence in a professional setting
Active Top Secret clearance
Experience with the design and manufacturing of complex electromechanical systems
Experience with mechanical assembly, manufacturing tooling design, factory design, and factory flow
Related professional level career experience in production operations
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
Experience in capacity & capital planning
Understanding and wide application of assembly and test methods
First Unit Flow planning & execution
Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling
Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) knowledge/experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
