Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shifts, 3x12 hours (1900 - 0730).
Job Description
The position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing to work in a supportive and collaborative team environment. The nursing staff will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to a diverse elderly population with various medical and surgical diagnoses, including respiratory diseases, infections, dementia, and neurological issues.
Responsibilities
Assessing and monitoring patient conditions.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Providing patient and family education.
Performing necessary duties to support patient safety and well-being.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Floating to other units as required based on census needs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Medsurg/Telemetry environment.
Epix experience is required (minimum of 1 year).
Current South Carolina RN License.
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Previous charge experience preferred.
