The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
The Respiratory Therapist Registered is responsible for the care, evaluation and tests of acute care patients suffering from complications related to the breathing system.
Respiratory Therapist Registered practices under the able guidance of expert physicians and should ensure that all respiratory care, starting from diagnosis to therapeutic treatment is properly carried out.
Graduate of a Respiratory Care education program

NJ Respiratory License
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification
Shift working, 7p-7am Monday to Friday, and every other weekend. Weekends are Saturday-Sunday.
Full-Time (FT)
Performs patient assessment pre, during, and post procedure for all ages groups including pediatric, adult, and geriatric
Demonstrates competence with all respiratory modalities and equipment
Performs maintenance and quality control procedures for pulmonary function testing and blood analyzers
Performs invasive procedures according to hospital and departmental guidelines, and endorses all critical results
Communicates effectively with staff, physicians, clinical personnel, patients, and visitors
Completes departmental documentation and charges by the shift end
