Bartender The Bistro - 2nd Shift - Part Time

Encore Village is currently hiring for a part time Bartender position. A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and ensuring smooth bar operations. The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of mixology, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and take beverage and food orders in a friendly and professional manner.
Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipes and customer requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service (e.g., refusing service to intoxicated guests).
Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
Provide recommendations on drinks, promotions and specials.
Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure excellent guest experiences.
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Bartender or in food and beverage service preferred.
Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Attention to detail, cleanliness and presentation.
Must meet local legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs (e.g., cases of beverages, kegs).
Work Environment:
Fast-paced, high-energy hospitality setting (restaurants, bars).
Evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts are common.
