Receives material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly.
Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list and/ orprepares a receiving report if none is available.
Assistcommon carriers and warehouse personnel with loading and unloading vehicles, as needed.
ProcessespaperworkregardingUPS shipmentsincludeverifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct UPS postage tape, following customer shipping instructions and insuring the shipment when necessary.
Counts and writestotalquantity of merchandise being shipped on the invoice.
Packseach order into a container andarrangesthe container onto a shelf according to truck route.

Assembles customer orders to be shipped via UPS.
Stocks incoming orders onto shelves.
Verifies quantities and items being shipped against the invoice.
Scanssupplier packing slips, receiving documents and any necessary paperwork intoMetaViewer, as needed.
Maintain warehouse and keep shelves andfloorin clean condition.
Follow all established warehouse Standard Operating Procedures.
Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety rules andoperatein a safe manner.

Warehouse Associate Skills, Knowledge, and Education Requirements: The Warehouse Associate should preferably possess a high school diploma or GED valid driver's license. Previousworking experience overseeing general supply chain management processes in a physicaldemandswarehouse environment.

This includes operatingforklifts,cherrypicker,pallet wrappers, and other warehouse equipment.

Proven ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, organize, and prioritize job tasks to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
Strong industrial b and c-class levelcomponentknowledge including but not limited to mechanical/ electrical products, fasteners, and fabricated goods, is preferred.
Proficiencyin WMS and Microsoft Offices, specifically Microsoft Excel.
