Serves as a leader on the dental team contributing to the smooth, efficient, operation of the team, the Site and the Organization.Provides care in the following disciplines of general dental practice: diagnosis, preventative dentistry, operative dentistry, pedodontics, periodontics, removable prosthodontics, endodontic, fixed prosthodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.Expands and maintains rapport with the dental community in the service area (e.g., interacts appropriately with other dental personnel outside of Clinica; actively seeks to broaden our referral network).Appropriately communicates with health & human services agencies, local governments, and community organizations as needed.Engages actively with dental provider team in determining clinical guidelines for dental program and complies with established Clinica Standards of Care.Supports and teaches team members at the site. Teaches students enrolled in a relevant health- profession training program.Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of general dental practice, including accepted and evidence-based treatment methodologies, and risk-based care practices.Engages effectively with team members outside of dental and supports overall integration of Clinica systems, particularly between medical and dental clinical teams.Provides Human Resources staff the needed documentation, paperwork, and signatures to complete credentialing and privileging (initial and biannual).Collaborates well with teammates, both on a clinical level (e.g., seeks/provides guidance and feedback to supervised/supervising clinician) as well as on a managerial and administrative level (e.g., Effective use of the electronic dental and health records (EDR, EHR), registries and templates.Graduation from an approved School of Dentistry.Possession of a current license to practice dentistry in the State of Colorado.Ability to diagnose and treat dental and oral disease.Working knowledge of the principles, standard practices methods, and techniques of dentistry.Knowledge of preventative dentistry, risk-based care, and educational/communication methodologies utilized in prevention.Understanding and application of practices and principles of quality improvement (QI) preferred.Sensitivity to low income and ethnic minority community a must.Bilingual in Spanish preferred.What we Offer CFHW?is an approved site for the Colorado Health Service Corps and National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Programs. assistance?for serving our communities.Medical, Dental & Vision optionsMedical and Dependent Care FSA/HSACompany paid life insuranceLong term disability insuranceAccident/hospital plans403(b) Retirement Plan with employer contributionsCFWH offers vacation time, sick hours, and personal holiday hours.Open communication with leadership and mission-focused engagementTraining and growth opportunities with a supportive team invested in your successCME (amounts and hours are prorated based on weekly hours/FTE) Dental Providers: $2500 and 40 hours annuallyCompensation Approximately $63.05 - $75.20/ hour.
