Audiologist - Veteran Disability Assessments
We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to perform medical assessments for U.Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The role involves reviewing uploaded medical records in a secure portal, conducting a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal to generate documentation needed for the VA to determine eligibility.

Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.

Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.

Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms.

Note: This role does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices. Disability determinations are made by the U.Department of Veterans Affairs, not by the provider.

Caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day on average.

Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.

A compassionate Audiologist dedicated to supporting the Veteran community.

Strong analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data.

Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals.

A professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans.

D. and graduation from an ASHA Accredited School.

Current license as an Audiologist.
