We also provide a 401(k) savings plan, Employee Assistance Program, a tuition reimbursement program, professional development and advancement opportunities.Join our team, be part of the solution, support evolving innovations, and help us continue providing quality products, all while being supported by strong leadership and a comprehensive and competitive benefits program.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and updating mining plans in cooperation with corporate mining personnel.Providing support to quarry personnel on mining and crushing operations as needed, including implementation of mining plans.On-going review and optimization of mining related key performance efficiency indicatorsPerforming GPS quarry surveysUpdating mineral reservesWorking closely with plant Quality Manager to ensure quality and consistency of the quarried materialSupporting permitting and compliance activitiesSupporting the quarry personnel with optimizing mobile equipment operations, including completion of time studiesPerform training of quarry personnel as neededCompleting internal and external quarry operations reportsQualificationsBS degree in Mining Engineering or GeologyTwo (2) to five (5) years working as a Mining Manager / Engineer. Prior experience with open pit mining required.Strong planning and problem-solving skills.Solid computer skills including Surpac Mining Software and MS Office.AutoCAD knowledge is a plusRequires physical dexterity to navigate through and around various job conditions, including climbing, walking on less-than-optimal surfaces, etc.Job SummaryJob ID: 2026-4174# of Openings: 1Department: Operations
