As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Shelby, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, well-managed environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and documenting visitor activity. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and dependable service.
Position Type: Full Time
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, assist with gate operations, and report irregularities involving deliveries, shipments, or restricted-area access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
