Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift Oncology floor position requiring GA or compact RN license and prior Med/Surg experience with high patient ratios.
Details
Medical Surgical unit with an Oncology patient population
Patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7, with higher ratio experience required
Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:00, with 3x12 schedules preferred
Every-other-weekend (EOW) requirement
Block scheduling will be considered
Uses Cerner and Soarian EMR systems
Requirements
Active GA or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum one year of recent Med/Surg experience required
Telemetry and IV start skills required
Oncology experience highly preferred
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Two professional references required for consideration
PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Oncology floor
Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
Minimal to no RTO available, must be disclosed prior to consideration
Local candidates within 31-50 miles of the facility accepted at a reduced rate; candidates under 30 miles will not be considered
