Pediatric Infusion Center Registered Nurse
Job Description
The Pediatric Infusion Center provides a range of pediatric specialty services, including infusions and procedural care for chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody administration, blood product administration, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy. We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse who is skilled in IV administration and is adaptable to the continuous changes within the Pediatric Infusion Center.
Schedule
This position is a full-time, 40 hours per week role, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. No weekends, holidays, or on-call hours are required.
Responsibilities
Administer IV medications and therapies to pediatric patients.
Coordinate patient care and support with interdisciplinary teams.
Monitor and document patient responses to treatments.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
NYS RN License.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in pediatrics.
Current BLS certification.
PEARS certification.
Experience with IVADs/Ports is preferred.
