Sales Assistant

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $14.00 - $18.50 per hour (based on experience)

Wheeler Staffing Partners is partnering with a valued client to place a detail-oriented Sales Assistant who will provide administrative and sales support to their Inside Sales team. This role is critical for ensuring accurate order processing, strong customer communication, and seamless coordination between departments in a fast-paced office environment.

Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and customer orders
Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, usage, and credit terms
Assist sales staff in preparing pricing and customer quotes
Compile documentation to prepare purchase orders for materials and services
Support order entry and assist with sales contracts as needed
Make outbound and inbound calls to prospective and existing customers
Organize and maintain invoices, customer purchase orders, and related files
Perform additional administrative and sales support duties as assigned
1-3 years of office or administrative experience

• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Sales support or Inside Sales experience

Familiarity with order entry and work order processes
High school diploma or GED required
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
