Job Details Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry RN Setting: Acute care hospital Location: Akron, OH 44307 Contract Length: Approximately 18 weeks Schedule: 3 shifts per week Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Orientation: 16 hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010 Registered Nurse Job Requirements Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience Active Permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required NIHSS certification preferred/required based on unit expectations Experience working in an acute care Med/Surg Telemetry setting One manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director reference from the specialty within the past 12 months Completion of required pre-start compliance items and onboarding modules Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Administer medications and treatments according to unit standards and physician orders Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and fellow nurses to support positive patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical quality and patient safety standards Support a fast-paced inpatient environment with professionalism, teamwork, and adaptability Why Consider This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
