• As a Math Teacher , you will plan and implement age appropriate lessons meeting the needs of individuals enrolled in the elementary program and create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth, while establishing effective rapport with students; motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation to become lifelong learners; and establish positive relationships with parents, staff and community.

Evaluate pupils' academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress notes.

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians by means of conferences, notes, phone calls, e-mail, and newsletters.
• Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior to achieve an effective learning atmosphere.
• Identify pupil needs, make appropriate referrals, and participate in developing strategies for individual education plans.
• Instruct pupils in citizenship and basic subject matter specified in state law and administrative regulations and procedures of the school.

Bachelor's Degree

• PA Teaching Certification (Public School Certification or Private Academic School Certification) (Mathematics Instructional Certification)
• Experience using effective behavior management techniques in relating to children to encourage participation and positive relationships and demonstrates enthusiasm in lessons.
• Full-Time

The employee must have the physical ability to restrain a resident while utilizing the tenets of Safe Crisis Management training.
