Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12, Nights

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team. The unit is a high-risk OB department with 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum beds, and 3 OR suites. This is a fast-paced environment serving a large regional population.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients in a high-risk labor and delivery setting.

Ensure the well-being and safety of both mothers and newborns.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans.

May be required to float to other maternal units such as postpartum and NICU as needed.

Maintain compliance with all infection control and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Must possess a valid NV State RN license prior to start.

NRP, BLS, ACLS certifications are required; STABLE certification is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, particularly in a high-risk hospital setting.
