Talented Registered Nurse Needed

Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse with experience in the Pharmaceuticals Industry. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Kalamazoo, MI. Deliver nursing care for patients with work-related injuries and illnesses.

Assists physician as needed. Documentation of patient data in electronic medical record which includes all activities related to work and non-work-related injuries and illnesses as well as worker's compensation.

Perform case management functions for work-related injuries or illnesses and worker's compensation cases.

Delivers nursing care to patients with non-work-related acute medical problems.

Provides emergency stabilization for seriously ill or injured patients.

Accurate presentation of patient's history, pertinent physical findings, EKG (if indicated) to EMT or paramedic and emergency department charge nurse in preparation for transport to emergency department.

Perform medical surveillance testing per corporate guidelines.

Perform phlebotomy for new hires and periodic medical surveillance.

Perform chain of custody for post offer testing in accordance with client's substance abuse policy.

Administer immunizations.
