Nursing Care Technician - CNA

Advanced Care Technician (ACT-Float)
We are seeking a compassionate Advanced Care Technician (ACT-Float) to provide essential patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This role supports infant, pediatric, and adult populations by delivering comfort and assisting with daily needs in a dynamic healthcare environment located in the Pacific Northwest region.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, clean, and infection-controlled work environment.
Offer comfort measures and assist patients with meals and daily activities.
Record and report vital signs such as temperature, pulse, weight, and fluid intake/output to supervisors.
Clean and prepare medical equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
Assist with patient transport as needed.
Prepare formula in the NICU department when required.
Qualifications

ACT: Preferred 3-6 months experience in an acute care setting.
ACT-Float: Preferred 1 year of acute care experience.
NICU Department: Minimum 2 years CNA experience with strong pediatric background preferred.
Basic computer proficiency is required.
Ability to read, speak, and follow instructions in English.
Familiarity with electronic charting is a plus.
Education

Must hold one or more of the following upon hire:
Current Certified Nurse Assistant Certification
Licensed Vocational Nurse
Military Corpsman
Nursing student who has completed fundamentals including initial assessment and vital signs

Certification

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 90 days of hire or transfer for specific departments.
Completion of at least 10 continuing education hours annually related to the role.
All candidates must successfully pass a physical exam, drug screening, and background check prior to employment.
