Job Description RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Contract) Location: Arizona 85006
Duration: 13 Weeks (11 May 2026 – 08 Aug 2026)
Pay: $2,108 – $2,365/week
Schedule
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3 x 12-hour shifts (typical 36 hrs/week)
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
Position Summary & Responsibilities
Provide PCU-level care using nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate)
Monitor and manage moderately acute patients (cardiac, respiratory, post-critical)
Administer medications, drips, and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and supervise support staff
Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes
Educate patients/families and support discharge planning
Requirements
Education & Experience:
BSN – Preferred
PCU/Stepdown or acute care experience
Licensure/Certifications:
Active Arizona RN License – Required
BLS – Required
ACLS – Typically required for PCU settings
