Event Custodian - Weekend and Night Shift

POSITION SUMMARY The ideal candidates for this position are detail‑oriented, flexible and willing to take on cleaning and special projects as needed. The Custodian position will follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of facility operations and grounds.

Clean and sanitize office spaces, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public areas

Maintain a cleaning schedule that will include cleaning of floors, trash cans, windows, furniture, equipment, and restrooms

Monitor for spills throughout the facility and clean as needed

Comply with local laws and procedures for storage and disposal of trash

Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management

Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests

Replenish restroom and janitorial supplies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred

Experience in sports complexes, arenas or large public venues preferred

High school diploma/GED required

Willingness to work a variety of shifts

Ability to work well under minimal supervision

Must be available to work a flexible schedule; evenings, nights, weekends, and some holidays

PHYSICAL DEMANDS May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend

Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time

Facility has intermittent noise
